Terms of Service

You must be 18 or older and legally able to enter this agreement. One account per person. Accounts are personal and may not be shared, sold, or transferred. We may require identity verification before you attend an event, and we may decline or revoke access at our discretion — for example, when verification fails or a report is upheld.

Your full profile is private. During events, other participants see only your first name and last initial, or the real-life nickname you choose. Your legal name, date of birth, email address, and phone number are never shown to other members during an event. Keep your profile accurate — impersonation or misrepresenting your age or identity is grounds for removal without refund.

A standard night is 8 rounds of 8 minutes each, with a short break between rounds so you can record your picks. Pairings are generated automatically. We can't guarantee a specific number of dates, a specific partner, or that any event will produce a match.

Events require a minimum number of attendees. If an event does not reach its minimum, we cancel it and refund every ticket for that event in full.

Single-event tickets are $19.95. Membership is $39.95 per month or $359.40 per year. Memberships renew automatically until cancelled; you can cancel at any time and keep access through the end of the paid period. Payments are processed by Stripe — we never store your card details.

Refunds follow our refund policy, which is part of these terms.

Video rounds must be attended by you alone, with your camera on, from a private and appropriate setting. Nudity, sexual content, harassment, hate speech, threats, solicitation, recruiting, and recording or screenshotting another participant are prohibited. Violations end your night immediately, without refund, and may end your account.

After each round you record whether you'd like to meet the other person again — as a date, as a friend, or not at all. When two people both choose to meet again, that is a mutual match, and we share the contact details each of you provided (email address and phone number) with the other so you can continue on your own.

By using The Ace Connect you consent to this sharing for mutual matches only. You agree to use another member's contact details solely to contact that person, and never for marketing, resale, harassment, or any unlawful purpose. If you'd prefer not to have your details shared, don't select "date" or "friend" for anyone — or contact us to close your account.

The Ace Connect facilitates introductions. We do not conduct criminal background checks, and identity verification is not a guarantee of anyone's character, intentions, or safety.

Once contact information is shared, all further communication and any meetings happen off our platform and are not monitored by us. You assume all risk for those interactions. To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Ace Connect and its owners, employees and contractors are not liable for the conduct of any member, for any offline or online interaction that follows a match, or for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Report any member who makes you uncomfortable, during or after an event, at safety@theaceconnect.com. Reports are reviewed by a person. We may suspend or permanently remove accounts, and we cooperate with law enforcement where required.

Video rounds depend on your internet connection, camera, and third-party infrastructure. We aren't liable for a round you miss due to a technical problem on your end. If a platform-side failure prevents an event from running, we'll reschedule it or refund the ticket.

We may update these terms; material changes will be announced in the app or by email, and continued use means you accept them. You may close your account at any time. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, and any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located there.
