Privacy Policy

Account details: your email address, and a password managed by our authentication provider (we never see it in plain text).

Profile details: first name, last initial, optional real-life nickname, birth date, state, community and orientation identifiers, phone number, and anything you write about yourself.

Event activity: which nights you RSVP to, your round pairings, your Yes / Friend / No picks, matches, and reports you file.

Payments: handled by Stripe. We store the resulting ticket or subscription status — never your full card number.

No one browses member profiles here. Your profile is readable by you, by our matchmaking system, and by our small trust and safety team when investigating a report.

During a video date, the other participant sees only your first name or nickname plus your last initial. Your age range, full name, contact details and written profile are not shown.

Who you mark Yes, Friend, or No is never revealed to the other person. If your pick isn't mutual, they will never know you picked them — and you'll never know if they picked you.

When two people pick each other, we share each person's email address and phone number with the other so you can continue on your own terms. This only happens for mutual matches, and it is the point of the service — if you don't want your contact details shared, don't mark anyone Yes or Friend.

What happens after an introduction is between the two of you. Please read our safety promise before meeting anyone in person.

Dates run over an encrypted third-party video service. We do not record video or audio, and we don't store transcripts. Background blur is applied on your own device before your video leaves it.

When you report someone we keep your report, the round it relates to, and any note you add, so our team can act on patterns. Blocks are permanent and one-directional: we simply never pair you with that person again, and we don't tell them you blocked them.

We send transactional messages only: RSVP confirmations, event reminders, cancellations and refunds, and match notifications. There is no marketing list you have to escape.

You can edit your profile at any time from your dashboard. To delete your account and profile, email privacy@theaceconnect.com and we'll remove your profile, picks and matches within 30 days. We retain payment and safety records where the law requires it.

We use a session cookie to keep you signed in and local storage to remember your camera, microphone and background-blur preferences. No advertising trackers.
