How it works

Eight rounds. Eight minutes. Zero guesswork.

An Ace Connect night runs about 75 minutes end to end: eight video dates of eight minutes each, with a short private break between every one.

1. 01

   Create your private profile

   Your profile is private by default. Other members never browse it — only our AI matchmaker reads it to build your rounds. Add the nickname you actually go by if you'd rather not use your legal first name.

2. 02

   Pick a night

   Every night is state-specific and built around a community and a theme. Book a single event or use your membership, then RSVP.

3. 03

   Run your camera & mic check

   Before the event, test your camera, microphone and speakers, and choose a soft or strong background blur so nothing behind you is identifiable.

4. 04

   Join the lobby

   Open your join link a few minutes early. When the host starts the night, you're placed straight into your first video date — no dialing, no room codes.

5. 05

   Eight dates, eight minutes each

   Only your first name (or nickname) and last initial appear on screen. A visible timer counts your eight minutes down.

6. 06

   A private break to make your picks

   Between every date you get a short break to pick your reason to connect — dating, friendship, or networking — while the conversation is still fresh. Pick more than one to widen your odds. Your picks are never shown to anyone.

7. 07

   Mutual matches only

   After the night, our matchmaker compares picks. When you both picked the same reason — dating, friendship, or networking — that's a match. One-sided or mismatched picks are silently discarded.

8. 08

   Take it from there

   You get a notification and your match's email and phone number so you can keep talking on your own terms. Meet in public, tell a friend, trust your gut.
